A Very Special Dress

Today Madeline wore a dress that means a lot to me. It was the dress I bought for her to wear home from the hospital, but as you can see, it didn't quite fit at birth. I've tried it on her a few times since then, and it still always swallowed her. Since we were having lunch with a good friend of mine (who hadn't seen her since her birth day), I wanted her to wear something nice and took a chance and tried this dress on again. It looks so cute! And I will always have special memories of it because as soon as I saw it in the store, I knew that I wanted her to wear it.
