All Dressed for Daycare

Today was Madeline's first day of daycare. People kept asking me if I was ok, but to be honest - I was great! The reason I'm so happy about it is that daycare is across the street from my office.

Since I went back to work at the end of June, she's been with family. And I think that having her stay with people who love and adore her made the transition back to work much easier. But now that I'm used to being away from her, having her in daycare across the street means that I can spend lunch and breaks with her. Plus, she's in a fantastic place where several of my friend's kids go, so I know she's in really good hands.

And since she was already strapped in, here's a pic of the outfit she's wearing. The little shorts are so cute!
