Learning to Use the Bouncy Chair + Grandma Marilyn's Birthday Dinner

Our girl is changing with every day that passes. She smiles in response to someone smiling at her, and she is keenly aware of her surroundings.

Saturday we put her in her bouncy chair for a bit and realized that if we put some books under her, she would be able to bounce more on her own. She sat for quite a while in there, perfectly content to play with the toys and use her feet to push off.

Sunday it was time for a dinner to celebrate Grandma Marilyn's upcoming birthday. I put her in a dress I received at my shower, and she looked so cute!

I tried taking a picture of her on my own, and all I got in response was a little scowl like she was saying "mom - whatcha doin?"

But then daddy appeared and she was all smiles!
