I am really torn about the fact that Madeline is spending her last week as a "Moonbeam" at daycare. The wonderful women in that room have cared for her since her three-month birthday. She loves them. And they adore her.
I get teary thinking about her moving away from these great ladies, but I know it's time. When she started in that room, she was the tiny girl in the room. All the kids in there were closer to 1, walking and playing. Now she's the oldest one in the room and it's a bunch of babies just laying around. I know she needs to be around kids playing and having a good time, and when we peer into the new room (Little Dippers), it's like a bunch of crazy monkeys running around.
I'm hoping this transition is harder on me than it is on her.
