I have tried many times, always unsuccessfully, to capture the sweet things Madeline does with Charlotte. When Charlotte is in the swing, Madeline will go over and start doing "this little piggy" with her toes. As soon as you try to get video, she stops. Then she'll lean over when she's in her rock and play sleeper (which, by the way, is the BEST piece of baby gear ever)and kiss her head (and occasionally stick her fingers in Charlotte's face).
Then yesterday I had Charlotte sitting on her boppy for a few minutes while I brought the sleeper downstairs. Before I got very far, Madeline had grabbed a little burp cloth to cover Charlotte, and then she started putting her stuffed animals around Charlotte to keep her company. It was so exceptionally sweet that just looking at the picture brings tears to my eyes. I am so excited that they will get to experience how amazing it is to have a sister. I am so blessed by the things that both of my sisters have brought to my life. I'm not going to talk too much about both of them because I'm at work and the tears are already starting to flow. Needless to say my life wouldn't be what it is without them.
