Yesterday we made another pumpkin patch trip. This location was not nearly as fun as the one we went to on Friday with school (which is detailed here). In fact, I didn't even take any pictures.
However, something funny happened. We were walking toward the corn maze in the bright October sun, and I told Madeline "hey look - there's your shadow." She kept looking around and looking around, and then she said "I got my shadow." A little confused, I looked over and she was holding her shadow - or what grownups call a rock.
After we finished the corn maze and were on the path back, she shouted "I found my shadow again" and held up another rock.
I love how her little mind works :-)
