I'm calling this an example of "passing along the wealth." Last year my dad and I went to Outback and they provided some pretty awful service. After informing them of the experience we'd had, they sent me some certificates for $25 off a meal.
I decided to share one with a friend to let her know I appreciated her friendship. When she got it she said it brightened what had been an otherwise dreary day as she dealt with a sick kiddo. I'm so glad I picked today and that it will be put to good use.
