I'm a planner. I even went back to a paper calendar this year because I like being able to talk on the phone and look at my calendar at the same time (especially handy when you book as many doctor's appointments as I do). I didn't really make a to-do list that looked like this for today, but it is the things that I did. Notice anything a little less mundane than the others?
I've known since the beginning that the day would come when I'd get the call letting me know it was time to schedule my delivery, but it was still a funny and odd call. The woman from the office explained who she was and asked if I had my calendar ready and then said "so you'll check in at 6 a.m. and have your baby at 7:30 a.m." She said it would have been scheduled for Monday the 28th, but that's a holiday so they try to avoid the day before and the day after due to scheduling of staff. It was just all so surreal.
This appointment isn't set in stone as many things could happen between now and then. If I end up on medication for blood pressure, it will be moved up a few weeks. If I go into labor on my own any time after 36 weeks (May 7th), they'll go ahead and let me deliver on my own. But the end goal is to avoid an induction after the experience last time.
So there you go. We now know what Charlotte's birthday will most likely be. And for those wondering, my actual due date was supposed to be June 3rd, so we're not cutting too many days off the schedule.
Typically, this is how revenue representatives have set sessions with leads and clients in the last, and for the most aspect, nothing has modified.
