Our First Trip of the Year to the Zoo

We took advantage of the amazing weather and hit the zoo today. We were there shortly after the doors opened, which was perfect because we had most of the place to ourselves. By the time we left around 10:30, the line to get in stretched into the parking lot.

I snapped this pic with my "nifty 50" lens (which I absolutely love) before we left. I've been watching this tree bloom in our front yard all week.
