Finished: Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief
Think of this book as the first in a series that could be described as Harry Potter meets Clash of the Titans. Percy Jackson is a 13 year-old boy who attends a boarding school and has always had problems, thus resulting in being kicked out of multiple schools. He finds out he's one of Poseidon's sons and that all the myths surrounding Greek mythology are true. It's a fun, easy read and worked well to keep me distracted during my many, many doctor's appointments while I wait to become a mom.
