What a Difference a Year Makes

When I think about how much Madeline has changed over the last year, it brings tears to my eyes. She's such an amazing little person, so full of energy and personality. Her words have the ability to make you feel warm and happy inside (or crush your heart when she's crying "momma...dadda..." when she hurts or is sad).

This time last year walking wasn't even close to being on the radar, and now she's running around the room.

Bottles were a staple and I was also still nursing. Now it's sippy cups all the time, and after the start of the year daycare will start teaching her how to use real cups.

Her hair has continued to grow and curl, as evidenced by the comparison below. It also seems to change color almost daily. One day it looks blonde, and the next it almost looks red.

But regardless of how she changes, one thing never will - we're so blessed to have this little girl as our daughter.
