Butterflies!

We wanted to do something with Madeline that we'd knew she'd enjoy before the craziness of Charlotte's arrival is here. When I saw that the PNM Butterfly Pavilion was open (yay for my company sponsoring something so cool for so many years) I knew this would be perfect. We could get to it without doing a ton of walking, which at 4 days out from delivery wasn't really an option in the 80+ degree weather.

All the way into the park, Madeline kept yelling, "butterflies!" Once we were inside she ran around chasing them and watching as they fluttered around. It was the perfect way to spend an hour after breakfast and before the day's heat really hit. It also gave me a chance to use some of my camera lenses, since last year I only had the one that came with the camera.
